The South African Embassy in Dublin is seeking to fill the vacant post of Social Secretary to the Ambassador with immediate effect.
The vacancy is a permanent, full-time position with working hours from 08:30 to 17:00 weekdays.
Salary: Starting from €36743 to a maximum of €44310 per annum with benefits, depending on qualifications and experience.
Job Purpose: To provide secretarial services to the Ambassador and organise social events Responsibilities: Assisting with the organisation and co-ordination of social events Protocol coordinator and relationship building Performing secretarial duties Assisting with the logistics for conferences, summits, etc.
Assisting with all administrative and clerical functions Service Delivery Requirements: Knowledge: Secretarial knowledge, client service focus.
Skills: Diplomacy, Networking, Communication, Negotiation, Problem solving, Computer literacy, language proficiency Management & Leadership: Participative Management, Planning and organising, Project Management Other: Adaptability, Insight, Conceptualisation, Analytical thinking, Actualisation, Sense of urgency, Initiative Minimum qualifications and Criteria: Minimum of 12 years schooling with completion of at least 1-year secretarial Diploma/Certificate Plus A minimum of 3 years experience as a secretary, personal assistant, receptionist or administrative assistant.
