As part of our consistent improvement and development within Ireland, John Sisk & Son Ltd are delighted to be recruiting for a new position on our Irish team.
The first of its kind in Ireland, the Social Value Manager will be responsible for leading John Sisk & Son's social value, impact and community engagement activities across Ireland by ensuring best practice is planned, implemented effectively and maintained across the business.

Reporting to the Head of Sustainability for Ireland & Europe, you will be visiting key sites/projects across Ireland to support the development of project specific social value plans and support social value champions.

You will be: Taking a leading role in the implementation of the Social Value Strategy for Sisk in Ireland/Europe. A key point of contact for collating and reporting on all social value activity across Ireland and Europe. Managing relationships with community organisations, charitable partners, schools, and other key social value stakeholders. Promoting and implementing the company's Considerate Constructors Scheme and Social Value Strategy – working closely with project social value champions. Supporting the ambition to diversify spend and engage with NGOs, social enterprises etc. Providing support and advice on community engagement for both pre-construction and operational teams. Working with Communications team to promote social value best practice activities across the company. Supporting volunteering and donation activities. Representing Sisk Sustainability & Social Value team on internal working groups and appropriate external practice communities. You will be travelling across Ireland visiting project sites and communities across Ireland.
Travel 2-3 days to site is a compulsory part of this job with some flexibility for working.

Expected salary €65000 per year
