Job Title: Social Worker (Duty Intake) Company: TUSLA Location: Killarney, Kerry.
Type: Contract, 39 hours per week Job Description: TUSLA is seeking a skilled Social Worker focusing on Duty/Intake to join our team in Killarney.
The Duty/Intake Service is responsible for the assessment of all new child protection and welfare concerns.
The Child and Family Agency was established on 1 st January 2014 and is responsible for a range of statutory functions including provision of child protection, alternative care, specified regulatory services and a range of family support services.
The Agency has commenced a major improvement programme with significant focus on Practice, Culture and Structure.
A valid driver's license and access to a car are essential for this position.
Requirements: Social Work Qualification recognised by the board of CORU CORU registration Access to own vehicle and valid driver's license Excellent communication and decision-making skills.
