We are currently seeking a highly-motivated Social Worker to join our team in CHO6, Dublin South, currently located in Sandymount. Contract Type: Permanent, full time contract.

Contract Hours: 35 hours per week.

Salary Scale: €49,581 – €65,674 pro rata per annum.
Salary scales are subject to LSI's (Long Service Increments).

Annual Leave Entitlement: 34 days pro rata per annum.

Overview of the Post: The post holder will be responsible for the provision of a Social Work service via the various teams, including assessment and intervention to children accessing the service meeting the ongoing complex and challenging needs of children and families.

The successful candidate will have Essential Criteria: (i) Be registered, or be eligible for registration, on the Social Workers Register maintained by the Social Workers Registration Board at CORU.

And (ii) Have the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and professional ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office.

And (iii) Provide proof of Statutory Registration on the Social Workers Register maintained by the Social Workers Registration Board at CORU before a contract of employment can be issued.

Annual Registration (i) On appointment practitioners must maintain annual registration on the Social Workers Register maintained by the Social Workers Registration Board at CORU.

And (ii) Practitioners must confirm annual registration with CORU to Enable Ireland.

Desirable Criteria: · Experience of interdisciplinary team working.

· Minimum of 1 year experience working in the disability sector.

· Minimum 1 year experience working with children with disabilities and their families.
