Job Responsibilities: Seasoned technologist that can work as a developer and data engineer. Strong JS, SQL and API development experience. Well acquainted with the DBA role. Advanced experience with organizing and managing relevant datasets on all platforms for the purpose of providing accurate data feeds in software development projects (begin-to-end SDLC). The role is to ensure middleware developers can consume underlying SQL and/or relevant rest APIs. Must operate with little to no supervision in filling in with development or data engineering tasks. Skills and Experience Required: Must have strong JS, API and SQL development experience. Must be a seasoned data engineer that can consult with other developers on "All Things Data" on all platforms – having deep knowledge on exporting/importing DDLs, knowledge of the data types and how they map and may truncate when exporting/importing onto various platforms (Excel, Postgres, Genrocket, MS SQL, ETL tool mappings, or equivalent platforms), and advanced SQL script writing knowledge to provide SQL snippets, or existing rest APIs. Strong knowledge of the sequence of how web-based software is developed (underlying SQL or API->middleware consumption (graphQL or code-behind)->UI forms – posts-retrieval). Have advanced skills in data source connections management (dbeaver, MS SQL mgmt studio, finding appropriate drivers…Jconnect jar files). Nice to have tools used: PostgreSQL, Genrocket and Dbeaver.
