Join the Item Relationships team. You will get to:

Analyze and implement machine learning algorithms for identifying relationships between each of billions of products. Design and develop intuitive solutions that will help customers make better informed buying decisions. Automate complex analysis critical to the quality and coherence of Amazon's enormous product catalog. Manage a constant stream of inbound product data from millions of merchants, suppliers, and partners worldwide. Leverage Amazon Web Services to create highly available, low-latency services upon which the whole of Amazon will depend. We are a fast-growing team developing cutting edge techniques and algorithms. Our platform is evolving quickly and there is so much more we want to do. Help us create the next generation of systems to bring better products to Amazon's customers.

Successful candidates will be innovative, flexible, and self-directed. They will be able to work both independently and collaboratively with cross-functional business and software development teams to solve critical business problems. They will be comfortable taking initiative and working alongside top-notch software developers.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience Experience programming with at least one software programming language PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
