Software Development Engineer, Amazon MWAAAWS Utility Computing (UC) provides product innovations — from foundational services such as Amazon's Simple Storage Service (S3) and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), to consistently released new product innovations that continue to set AWS's services and features apart in the industry. As a member of the UC organization, you'll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (IoT), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS, including support for customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services.
Amazon Managed Workflows for Apache Airflow (MWAA) is a managed orchestration service for Apache Airflow that makes it easier to set up and operate end-to-end data pipelines in the cloud at scale. If you share our passion for workflow orchestration at scale, innovative software development on server-less architecture and a commitment to contribute back to Apache Airflow open-source community, then we may just have a role for you.
We are looking for a software development engineer to drive feature development for Amazon MWAA. You will help define the technical direction, build/improve core MWAA components, and produce high quality design/code. You will also drive operational excellence of a large-scale AWS service.

Minimum Qualifications3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experienceExperience programming with at least one software programming language3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experienceBachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
