Key job responsibilitiesThe successful candidate will work within the Consumer Tech and Product (CTAP) team and own the delivery of technical changes from a strong roadmap of projects.
The projects range from introducing new self-service workflows for customers to access from the website to new Email, Push and SMS notifications.
The candidate will gain a vast amount of experience in a short time period by working with various technical teams from across the globe on an away team model basis.
A day in the lifeAs a Software Development Engineer in CTAP, you will take the lead on building innovative solutions to address the root causes of defects.
You will also own the technical relationships with the business teams.
You will have a strong bias for action, invent and simplify, insist on the highest standards and deliver results.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experienceExperience programming with at least one software programming languagePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experienceBachelor's degree in computer science or equivalentOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
