We're looking for a Software Development Engineer who is excited about the opportunity to be part of the tech team building infrastructure monitoring web applications on AWS for internal Amazon customers.
We're an agile development team, based in Leipzig, owning infrastructure monitoring for the OTIE organization and are actively developing new monitoring services for our worldwide operations.
Operations Technology Infrastructure Engineering (OTIE) is the central organization supporting all Operational sites (e.g., Fulfillment Centers, Delivery Stations, Sortation Centers) worldwide with IT infrastructure and corresponding services, e.g., monitoring or device management.
The ideal candidate is passionate about software development and has a track record of leading design and implementation of new products and features. They care about the user experience and are confident in both back and front-end initiatives. Above all else, having a passion for well-architected software within a positive team environment is key to the role.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONSExperience in professional, non-internship software developmentExperience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systemsExperience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented designPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in computer science or equivalentExperience in full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experienceAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
