You'll get to play a key role in building the platform that powers communication on Toast's MyToast mobile app for restaurant employees - where they engage with their schedule, pay, and team management which ultimately contributes to the success of every restaurant using MyToast.
About this role: As a Software Engineer II on our team, you will:
Work with fellow developers, product managers, and designers, to build amazing communication platform features with a goal of increasing our consumer footprint at Toast and employee engagement within restaurants. Work on challenging projects in a supportive team environment with various opportunities for cross-team collaboration. Ship code that has a massive impact on the growth of Toast. Experiment directly with restaurant employees for quick feedback on features and projects. Do you have the right ingredients? Experience in Java, Kotlin or other object oriented language(s). Passionate about technology and learning new things. Desire to make continuous improvements to teams and technology. You are not afraid to tackle big problems and ask insightful questions.
