Job Summary
As a Software Engineer in the Information Engineering organization, you will use leading industry cloud and AI services to design and deliver scalable enterprise solutions for NetApp's global content ecosystem, including NetApp's first customer-facing Gen AI-powered assistant. You are expected to write code and operate within an agile team of engineers to research, design, implement, and test new solutions. You will innovate with NetApp products to design customer-centric AI and cloud data workloads that help NetApp customers solve their business challenges.
Job Requirements
Clearly communicate and collaborate with team members throughout all phases of the project lifecycle from inception to release. 
Recommend and implement AI, cloud, and open-source technologies working with internal and external engineers to deliver scalable enterprise solutions.
Leverage internal and private cloud infrastructure to increase automation in enterprise publishing systems, including content ingestion, transformation, and deployment processes.
Provide technical leadership and troubleshooting in code reviews, service requests, and outage recoveries, including self-driven engagement with community stakeholders.
Ability to quickly adapt and learn new technologies within a fast-paced environment, balance multiple priorities, and use quantitative data to measure success.

Technical skills
Proven experience with at least one major programming language such as Ruby, Python, and JavaScript (React and Node.js preferred).
Experience designing AI architectures with varying ML techniques, technologies, and integrating services.
Experience with cloud platform technologies including Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Microsoft Azure, and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Experience architecting distributed systems in a cloud ecosystem with security best practices.
Experience with database design and retrieval operations using cloud storage technologies such as MongoDB, PostreSQL, Redis, and Elasticsearch.
Familiarity designing scalable infrastructure with containerization and configuration management tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Ansible.
Knowledge of design tools, test frameworks, and documentation static site generators.
Experience with big data processing techniques and technologies.

Education
IC - Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience.
