Job Title: Software EngineerJob DescriptionAs a Software Engineer, you will be involved in the complete solution development lifecycle, from communicating with customers to understanding business needs, requirements analysis, conceptualising solutions, architecture & design, implementation, testing, deployment, and support.
You will work with exceptionally dedicated and hardworking people globally.
Your role will include the development and support of solutions/tools used to support Product Operations.ResponsibilitiesCommunicate with customers to understand their business needs.Analyse requirements and conceptualise solutions.Design, implement, test, deploy, and support software solutions.Work collaboratively with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.Ensure solutions are highly scalable and maintainable.Develop and support web applications and web services.Create and maintain RESTful services.Work with real-time distributed systems.Essential SkillsExcellent communication and presentation skills.Ability to work cross-functionally and geographically.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Experience with Object Oriented Programming, software design, and data structures.Knowledge of software application architecture.Experience with highly scalable RESTful services.Proficiency in web app and web services development technologies (preferably Angular.Experience with AWS.Proficiency in , Git, and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (, Jenkins).Experience with Unix, shell scripting (Python, Perl), and databases (SQL).Familiarity with virtualisation tools (, Docker) and software orchestration tools (, Kubernetes, Docker Orchestration).Understanding of cloud services architecture and networking.Additional Skills & QualificationsRelevant degree.Why Work Here?You will have the opportunity to work in a world-class environment supporting one of the biggest brands in the world.
