The Operations Software Engineering team is looking for a motivated, versatile, and hardworking Software Engineer intern.
You will work together with our team to implement high-quality solutions and will also work cross-functionally with various Apple teams dispersed geographically.
Our team is mainly located in Cork, Ireland, but we also have team members in the US, India, and China, and we work closely with partners and vendors around the globe.

Description: End-to-end involvement in the solution development lifecycle from communicating with customers to understanding business needs, requirements analysis, conceptualizing solutions, architecture & design, implementation, testing, deployment, and support.
Work with exceptionally hardworking and dedicated people throughout Apple globally.
Development and support of solutions/tools used to support Product Operations.
Minimum Qualifications: Enrolled in B.Sc (Hons), M.Sc or equivalent in Computer Science or B.Eng (Hons), M.Eng in Electronic/Electrical Engineering or equivalent Third Level engineering qualification.Preferred Qualifications: Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to work multi-functionally and geographically.Able to see the bigger picture and not just the specific assigned task(s).Good at dealing and working with other people and understanding their requirements.Ability to work to tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.Be an ambitious and logical problem solver with a strong work ethic.Excellent analytical skills.Object Oriented Programming, software design, and data structures.Software application architectural skills.AWS.Git.Unix.Shell, Python, or Perl scripting.Databases.Shell scripting.Virtualization tools (e.g., Docker).Software orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker Orchestration).
