Job Description The business area European Wind and Solar (E) is responsible for development and ownership of wind and solar assets in Europe.
The business area is also responsible for the project execution of large projects in Statkraft, the group procurement function and development of new business opportunities.
We are currently looking to recruit a Solar Project Manager to strengthen the business area's Project Delivery Unit.
The team is responsible for the project execution of large-scale infrastructure renewable projects of onshore wind, solar and battery storage across Ireland.
You will report to the Head of Solar Project Delivery for Ireland.
As a Solar Project Manager; your main responsibilities will be to manage the pre-construction and construction of our solar projects to include; Lead and manage project administration and coordination with team members, consultants, contractors, and service providers.
Ensure continuous planning, follow-up on cost, time, quality, and report project status to senior management.
Fulfill project charter requirements and implement Health, Safety, Security (HSS), and Sustainability standards.
Ensure anti-corruption measures and compliance with Statkraft's reporting standards.
Facilitate internal communication and coordination among project staff and external parties.
Conduct regular project meetings, document minutes, and track project progress, spend, and payments.
Manage tendering processes for small works and BoP contracts.
Oversee technical design inputs and ensure successful project delivery.
Utilise Statkraft tools for payments, project tracking, safety, contract, and risk management.
Contribute to the construction team's competence in renewable energy projects and maintain high Environmental and HSS standards.
Qualifications University degree in engineering or natural sciences with extensive experience.
Proven track record in managing renewable energy projects from development through to construction.
Experience in the renewable energy industry, particularly in construction processes and environmental assessments for wind, solar, battery, and other projects.
Full responsibility for project budgets and schedules from early development to operations.
Strong technical understanding of renewable energy technology and experience with supply contracts.
Excellent communication, relationship-building, and management skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, AutoCAD, SharePoint, and other applications.
Ability to frame issues concisely with context, analysis, recommendations and risk / benefit.
Independent self-starter with strong organisational skills and ability to manage a large workload.
Excellent communication skills in English.

You will be required to be in the office three days per week.
