Sourcing Specialist

Sourcing Specialist- Level 1 or Level 2 Location open to candidate preference: Galway, Cork or Tipperary
Hybrid role - 3 days a week on site
Function: Procurement
Purpose: Provide reporting and analysis to support the Global Sourcing function and Strategic Sourcing management.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain supplier performance metrics and scorecards.Prepare periodic and ad hoc spend analysis reports.Support data requests from senior leaders and the Procurement Council.Identify and implement process improvements for analytics.Leverage strong analytical skills to evaluate spend, ensure compliance, and manage budgets.Utilise system tools such as Ariba and oversee contract invoicing.Quality Commitment: Ensure compliance with the Quality Policy and procedures to maintain patient safety and product quality.Foster a quality-focused and compliant work environment.Job Scope: Knowledge: Basic to intermediate understanding of procurement concepts and processes, depending on level.Business Expertise: Apply general knowledge with increasing independence based on experience level.Problem Solving: Address routine to moderately complex issues using established policies and practices.Impact: Focus on task-specific contributions with growing scope and responsibility.Communication: Share information, seek clarity, and compile data to support decision-making.Preferred Qualifications: Finance background is preferred; medical device experience is not required.This position is open at Level 1 or Level 2, based on the candidate's experience and qualifications.Our Vision: To be recognised as the best STEM Contracting & Permanent Recruitment company and the Employer of Choice for top performing Recruiters.
