Job Summary: Our client is looking for an experienced and creative Sous Chef to join their dynamic culinary team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts and exceptional leadership skills.
As a Sous Chef, you will assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, overseeing food preparation, and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation.
Responsibilities: · Assist the Head Chef in managing daily kitchen operations · ? Oversee food preparation and presentation to ensure high quality and consistency · Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative environment · Manage inventory and order supplies to maintain kitchen efficiency · Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations · Develop new menu items and contribute to menu planning Ideal Candidate: · Good English communication skills · Positive attitude and good personality · Valid work permit required · Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel environment · Ability to work independently and make decisions · Strong leadership and organizational skills · Creative and passionate about culinary arts Benefits: · Free lunches · Staff Coffee Rate from Barista · Free tea and standard coffee · Flexible work times compared to other corporate-owned companies · ?
