We are looking for a highly motivated Space PA/QA Specialist to join our team at our location in either Noordwijk, The Netherlands or Galway, Ireland. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our space projects through comprehensive product assurance and quality assurance activities.
Please note that, upon selection, the successful candidate will be subject to a general security screening performed by an external provider (further information will be provided at interview stage). The successful candidate will be tasked with, but not limited to:
Define and implement product assurance and quality assurance plans tailored to specific space projects, including verification and validation plans;Ensure compliance with applicable space industry standards (e.g., ECSS standards) throughout project phases;Identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to product quality and reliability, implementing effective risk management strategies;Conduct internal and supplier audits, inspections, and reviews to verify adherence to quality procedures and product specifications;Lead the analysis and resolution of non-conformances, ensuring corrective actions are implemented, verified, and documented;Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure quality assurance standards are met across the supply chain;Prepare and maintain detailed PA/QA documentation, including quality reports, audits, and product release certificates;Work closely with project managers, engineering teams, and external stakeholders to integrate PA/QA best practices throughout the product lifecycle. Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Engineering or a related discipline;At least 5 years of relevant experience;Proven track record of working on space projects, with familiarity in applying ECSS standards;Strong understanding of quality management systems and practices within the space domain;Experience with non-conformance management, corrective action implementation, and quality assurance processes in space projects;Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and present information clearly to stakeholders;Experience in supply chain quality assurance and working with subcontractors in the space industry is an asset;Familiarity with lightweight and composite structures quality assurance within the context of space missions is an asset;Experience in risk management and tools such as FMEA or Root Cause Analysis is an asset;Certifications or training in ISO 9001, AS9100, or other relevant quality standards are desirable;Candidates must be eligible to work in the EU; Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
