Job Description
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and experienced Learning and Development Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering innovative learning programs that drive talent growth and support our organizational goals. This role requires a strategic thinker with a passion for coaching and development, strong networking and partnership skills, and a commitment to execution excellence. The Specialist ensures that the L&D team objectives are effectively achieved, consistent with our company's requirements to ensure compliance, safety and reliable supply to our customers.
The Learning & Development Specialist will report to the Site Learning & Development Lead.
What you will doBring energy, knowledge, innovation to carry out the following: Demonstrate a deep understanding of the biotech industry and regulatory landscape to effectively support Permanent Inspection Readiness and cGMP Compliance. Leverage industry knowledge to ensure that training and development programs are aligned with current standards and best practices.Ensure the successful execution of learning programs by managing timelines, resources, and deliverables.Focus on delivering key L&D metrics by implementing and ensuring adherence to site learning processes to achieve desired outcomes.Take ownership of learning projects, from conception to completion, and hold yourself accountable for achieving target results.Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to enhance learning initiatives and drive collaboration. Collaborate with Global L&D, Learning Support Services, and other manufacturing sites to implement best practices.Drive the adoption of new technology interventions to expedite speed to competency, ensuring that learning solutions are cutting-edge and effective.What skills you will need:In order to excel in this role, you will more than likely have:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalentMinimum of 3 years' related experienceExperience in the areas of Learning, Quality Assurance and / or Operations in the pharmaceutical sector preferableExpertise in employing emerging technologies, including GenAI augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR), to develop engaging and immersive training sessions.L&D Policies, Standards, and Procedures: Knowledge of and ability to use industry and organization standards, procedures, and policies relevant to staff learning and development.Adult Learning: Theory and Practice: Experience in applying concepts and practices of adult learning to meet the dynamic needs of the business.Learning Needs Analysis: Experience in assessing competency gaps and identifying what people need to learn for successful individual and organizational performance.Strong in analysing data, building metrics, and using visualisation tools.Working knowledge and application of Instructional Design, Adult Learning Principles, and Evaluation Methodologies.Learning Management System (LMS) Proficiency: Expertise in navigating and utilizing LMS platforms to manage, deliver, and track training programs. Ability to customize learning paths, generate reports, and ensure compliance with organizational training requirements.Motivation to be an inspiring member of a high performing team and passion to build the future of our company.Have a constant desire to learn, grow, and evolve.
