Specialist Medical Scientist - Haematology

About us: St Jamess Hospital is Irelands largest acute academic teaching hospital and is based in Dublins south inner city.
Our fundamental purpose is the delivery of health treatment, care and diagnosis as well as health promotion and preventative services at local, regional and national levels.The Haematology laboratory department, Labmed Directorate supports the largest Haematology-Oncology service in Ireland, the National Adult Blood and Bone Marrow Transplant Centre and the national Car-T therapy program at St Jamess Hospital.
Purpose of the role: The role of the Specialist Grade Medical Scientistis tolead, provide and develop the laboratory service to patients in Flow Cytometry and related technologies, under the direction of the Chief Medical Scientist and Consultant Haematologist, working with senior medical scientist colleagues.
