Role Overview: The Sponsorship Executive / Associate will be an essential team member, responsible for identifying, engaging, and securing sponsorship opportunities to support the sports events, teams, and associated activities.
This role requires a results-oriented individual with strong networking abilities, a proactive approach to sales, and a keen understanding of the sports sponsorship landscape.
Key Responsibilities: Sponsorship Acquisition: Research and identify prospective sponsors that align with our brand and event objectives.
Develop tailored pitches and proposals to present to potential sponsors, highlighting unique benefits and return on investment.
Lead outreach efforts, including cold-calling, networking, and digital engagement, to build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential sponsorship leads.
Relationship Building & Management: Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with new and existing sponsors, ensuring clear communication and a focus on long-term partnerships.
Act as the primary point of contact for sponsors during negotiation phases, contracts, and throughout sponsorship term.
Strategic Planning & Collaboration: Work with the relevant internal team to create and implement sponsorship strategies that align with the organisation's goals.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless integration of sponsorship activities across all channels.
Track industry trends and competitors to identify new opportunities and best practices in sports sponsorship.
Campaign Execution & Reporting: Assist in the planning, execution, and delivery of sponsor activations, ensuring alignment with contractual obligations and brand standards.
Monitor and report on sponsorship performance, preparing post-campaign reports to evaluate the success of sponsorship activations and recommend areas for improvement.
Manage sponsor-related budgets, ensuring adherence to financial targets and accountability for expenditures.
Key Skills & Experience: Essential Skills: 1-3 years of experience in a sponsorship, sales, or business development role (preferably within the sports industry).
Proven ability to identify, approach, and close sponsorship deals, with a strong record of meeting or exceeding targets.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling sponsorship proposals and presentations.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Desirable Experience: Understanding of the sports sponsorship landscape, including knowledge of sponsorship ROI, key industry players, and audience insights.
Experience using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) to track outreach, pipeline, and relationship management.
Existing network of contacts within the sports sponsorship industry.
Personal Attributes: Results-oriented and self-motivated, with a proactive approach to securing and managing sponsorships.
A confident and persuasive communicator with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, partners, and colleagues.

Renumeration: Annual Salary : €35,000, negotiable depending on experience.
