We are looking for a talented and motivated Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our AI/ML Engineering Services team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine learning and a passion for applying these skills to enhance cybersecurity measures.
This role involves developing and optimizing machine learning models to detect and prevent cyber threats.
This is a 1 year fixed term contract based in Cork, Ireland.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement machine learning models to identify and respond to cybersecurity threats.Collaborate with cybersecurity SMEs, security analysts, and engineers to identify and address complex cybersecurity challenges.Optimize machine learning models for performance and scalability.Collaborate with Cybersecurity Engineers and Analysts to integrate machine learning models into cybersecurity platforms.Conduct experiments and evaluate model performance using appropriate metrics.Assist in the creation of technical documentation and reports.Stay informed about the latest trends and advancements in machine learning and cybersecurity.Support the Principal Machine Learning Engineer in research and development activities.Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in machine learning, with a preference for cybersecurity applications.Strong programming skills in Python.Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.Good understanding of cybersecurity principles and threat detection techniques.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent teamwork and communication skills.Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Azure Databricks and AzureML.Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or similar.At McKesson, we care about the well-being of the patients and communities we serve, and that starts with caring for our people.
