Sr Manager Rogaska Regional Retail & Wholesales OUR ROLE: This is a fantastic opportunity for a senior retail professional to bring their ideas and experience to manage, lead and develop the direct to consumer in Slovenia and wholesales retail channels in surrounding markets.
This covers 2 brand stores and 1 outlet and related online sales, as well as some wholesales partners.
The focus will be on attracting tourists to the stores to drastically increase traffic, while maximizing retail experience, assortment and visual merchandising management and implementation.
We require a highly experienced professional to maximise the profitability and sales volumes generated from retail operations across the network.
Responsibilities: Lead the acceleration of our retail operations in Slovenia ensuring that Rogaska becomes a destination for international travellers in Slovenia.Develop and implement strategies to attract international traffic in stores, and develop client experience and sales.Monitor and analyze sales performance, inventory levels, and other key metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.Manage the assortment planning process, including product selection, pricing, and inventory management, to maximize sales and profitability.Ensure excellent visual merchandising implementation at all times to maximize stores performance and deliver perfect in-store experience to clients.Drive agency for e-commerce platform ensuring in-store and online consistency while maximizing visitors & conversion rate.Plan, organize and implement marketing activities to increase performance in key periods at owned retail.Develop clients' database to generate CRM activities aiming at retaining, developing and recruiting clients.Oversee store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, shift management and security measures.Assess current wholesales distribution and recommend partners to keep or close based on retail/competition environment/store performance with objective to further maximize DTC potential.Drive P&L responsibility for channel and each location to deliver company Contribution targets.Engage, influence and partner with key internal and external stakeholders to deliver the retail performance acceleration.Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant regulations.Management Lead and motivate retail teams to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service.Train and mentor sales and retail staff to provide exceptional client service, product knowledge, and assistance in assortment management tasks.Foster a positive working environment that encourages teamwork, collaboration, and employee engagement.Qualifications Proven track record of driving sales growth, optimizing traffic, assortment performance, and delivering exceptional client experience.Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate, inspire and drive teams (direct reports and cross-functional) to deliver and overachieve results.Strong commercial and analytical skills with focus on P&L management.Known as a proactive and energetic person with a positive mindset, you are pragmatic with a solution-driven attitude.Solid team player, you are able to work autonomously at a very high pace and rapidly adapt to a fast-changing environment.Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred.Minimum of 5-10 years' experience in a similar role preferably with a strong background with established international brands (luxury as a plus).Internationally capable and influential communicator with excellent command of English and Slovenian.
