Current risk domains in scope are Anti-Corruption, Privacy, Information Security and Information Systems Quality, which will expand as we grow the programme.
The Risk Assessor Team Manager will have oversight of team tasks and activities ensuring that all work is performed with excellence.
The manager will also actively connect with the team and drive engagement to ensure a high performing team and culture.
Responsibilities: People & Engagement Demonstrates Team Lilly behaviors including the Lilly values of Integrity, Excellence and Respect for PeopleCreates and contributes to an environment of enthusiasm and accountability to enable the team to reach set goalsEnsures the alignment between the goals of the business, TPRMs goals and individual goalsCreates a safe environment where all team members feel they can share their unique opinions and ideasProvides support for direct reports, through Performance Management and Development planning conversationsMonitors work, providing feedback and coaching on individual performance to ensure consistency in standards and ensuring the team meets or exceeds targetsOperations Accountable for team day-to-day operations and resources tasks appropriatelyEnsures operational goals are met with best-in-class processes/systems and within compliance boundariesFacilitates team meetings to communicate team performance, goals, results and general business needsAccountability to ensure high quality assessments are conducted timely and in a coordinated mannerOverall responsibility for the ongoing monitoring activities that are scheduled and completed as per scheduleOversight of the findings management process to ensure accuracy and completenessDemonstrates a strong compliance-oriented mindset & helps to build a strong compliance culture within the teamCultivates a mindset of continuous improvement within the teamDecides and acts promptly, using good judgment and anticipates or removes obstacles that get in the way of progressSupports efforts to implement processes and technologies to maximize efficiency and effectivenessDelivers and drives excellence in quality standardsPartnership Establishes and maintains strong working relationships with all functional stakeholders including Risk Domain Partners and RO/FO/EOs/TPMO/Procurement as requiredWorks with peers to demonstrate a strong aligned leadership presence and perspectiveParticipates in TPRM Steering Committee and Operations committee as requiredPartners with Data Insights lead to ensure business operations reporting and dashboards are in place to allow for oversight and enhanced decision makingParticipates at forums including but not limited to TPRM Steering Committee (Risk Domain Partner Leadership), Assessment Coordination and TPRM Operations CommitteeSupports TPRM Projects as requiredPartners with risk domain business functional areas to ensure TPRM activities are maintained and reflect current risks and expectations.Qualifications/Competencies: Bachelor's Degree and or CIPP/CIPT/CTPRP/CRISC/CISA/CISM qualificationExperienced and proven people manager3+ years Third party management experience or similarAdditional Skills/Preferences: Experience performing third party risk assessments in areas including but not limited to Anti-Corruption, Privacy, Information Systems and Information Systems Quality.Minimum of three or more years of audit, operational risk or other risk management experience or other proven related business experienceGood understanding of risk management and internal control leading practices within specialized area of focusDemonstrated ability to work effectively in a complex, highly regulated environmentAbility to plan, organize, prioritize and drive workload autonomouslyEffective communication, organization and presentation skillsEffective influence management skillsEvidence of strong analytical and data management skillsCollaborate and build partnerships across functions and regions, works well with othersAbility to work in a matrix organization to influence outcomesLilly is dedicated to helping individuals with disabilities to actively engage in the workforce, ensuring equal opportunities when vying for positions.
