Sr. Technical Program Manager Automation and Tooling, AWS Trust & SafetyDESCRIPTION

We are currently in search of a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technical Program Manager for AWS Trust & Safety.
In this position, you will coordinate software delivery efforts between trust and safety professionals protecting AWS cloud from abuse, and software development teams building supporting tools and automation. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership and program management skills to prioritize initiatives, oversee the creation of a roadmap, and ensure predictable delivery.
Key job responsibilities
You will work closely with other experts across AWS and analyze data insights to identify scenarios for abuse investigation and disruption. You will partner with the development teams on scenarios, product tradeoffs, and incremental value delivery to create fit-for-purpose tooling and automation software for AWS Trust & Safety. You will work to understand how AWS services are abused, and help disrupt these activities.
Lead cross-functional teams of trust & safety, security, and software development professionals to design and implement automation solutions and tools.Work closely with internal customers to validate and refine requirements, ensuring alignment with business needs.Act as the primary point of contact between internal customers and development teams to align priorities and deliverables.Prioritize projects and tasks based on impact, urgency, and resource availability, ensuring the most critical needs are addressed first.Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget. Utilize program management methodologies to streamline processes and manage dependencies to improve efficiency.Prepare and deliver high quality executive reviews. Provide regular status updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment across all teams.Mentor and guide other TPMs on the team, sharing best practices and promoting a culture of continuous improvement. Working as a part of AWS Trust & Safety, you will work to solve issues related to the latest security trends and early warning indicators, as well as assisting in designing solutions for emerging threats. Trust & Safety is a team that constantly provides new opportunities to learn and grow.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalentExperience in technical program management working directly with software engineering teamsExperience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definitionAnalytical skills, experience with SQL. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience managing technical programs across cross-functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedulesExperience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadershipFoundational knowledge in information technology, including cloud services, networking, and protocols. Experience with large scale and complex incidents of all types, including DDoS, phishing, and malware.
