St. Vincents University Hospital | Senior Occupational Therapist Acute Surgical Service

Title:Senior Occupational Therapist Reports to:Reports and is accountable to the Occupational Therapist Manager in Charge III Key Duties and Responsibilities: Clinical: As Senior OT in Acute Surgery, the post holder alongside other senior(s), will be expected to utilise high level clinical skills, intervention, education and rehabilitation skills to ensure they and all Occupational Therapy staff in this area provide all patients a timely, competent and equitable service.
In their Acute Surgical role, the post holder alongside the other senior, will act as lead contact for varied medical teams and MDT teams that come under the umbrella of surgery such as orthapedics, vascular etc.
This role works within Unscheduled Care and key to this role is an understanding and initiatives to assist patient flow in the patients journey.
