We are Hiring Staff Nurses -Day of Surgical Admission and Pre-Assessment into a private hospital in Dublin,Ireland.
Responsibilities Utilising methods and skills for evaluation to ascertain the needs of the patient upon admission.
Perform thorough and accurate nursing assessments of patients, organize and carry out care, and assess the accomplishment of predetermined goals.
When assessing and gathering information about the patient's health and functional state, use a systematic process.
Accurately analyze and interpret data Work together to determine the patient's needs and anticipated health care results with the patient, family, and carers.
Make that all equipment is used safely and correctly, and that unit stocks and materials are used efficiently.
Assure the hospital's policy is followed when it comes to the safekeeping of patients' possessions.
Record all required medical attention provided using the Meditech Patient Information System.
If asked, be prepared to be assigned to different parts of the hospital.
Any incidents, accidents, near misses, or complaints should be thoroughly documented and reported to the CNM as soon as possible.
You should also offer to assist with any follow-up investigations that the CNM requests.
Attend team meetings, staff meetings, and committee meetings as needed.
Requirements E nrolled in the NMBI-maintained Register of Nurses' general section.
Possess two years of recent, relevant, full-time, or comparable part-time post-registration nursing experience in an acute hospital setting, with one year spent in a surgical setting.
Maintain current certification in Basic Life Support A benefit is having anaesthesia experience.
