We are currently seeking a highly-motivated Staff Nurse to join our team in Adult Day Services Ballintemple & other adult services locations as required.
Contract Type: Permanent Contract Hours: 18.75 hours per week Salary Scale: €34,492 to €50,362 pro rata per annum.
Salary scales are subject to LSI's (Long Service Increments) Annual Leave Entitlement: 33/34/36 days pro rata Overview of the Post: The post holder will work as part of the Adult Services team supporting Service Owners and their families/carers within the region, providing excellent professional, skilled and effective person centred and evidence based nursing care.
Overview of Duties & Responsibilities: Please see Job Description for full list The successful candidate will have Essential Criteria: Statutory Registration, Professional Qualifications, Experience, etc Eligible applicants will be those who on the closing date for the competition: (i) Be registered in the General Nurse Division of the Register of Nurses kept by the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Ireland [NMBI] (Bord Altranais agus Cnimhseachais na hireann).
And (b) Candidates must possess the requisite knowledge and ability, (including a high standard of clinical and administrative capacity), for the proper discharge of the duties of the office.
Annual registration On appointment, practitioners must maintain live annual registration on the General Nurse Division of the Register of Nurses & Midwives maintained by Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland [NMBI] (Bord Altranais agus Cnimhseachais na hireann).
Possess a full clean driving license Be eligible to work in the state Experience of working in a person-centred health or social care setting Desirable Criteria: Experience of working with adults or children with disabilities desirable.
Experience of working within adult day services setting an advantage.
