We are hiring a  Staff Nurse for a nursing home in Wicklow, Ireland.
Responsibilities   Uphold the highest standards of nursing care in the house and make sure all employees are carrying out their responsibilities effectively.
Make certain that every resident is treated as an individual and with respect, privacy, and decency.
Build a meaningful and personal relationship with each resident, family member, and guest to guarantee that the right kind of support is always provided.
Make sure all home admissions are handled properly and that the necessary paperwork is filled out.
Make sure that the pertinent paperwork is finished to the necessary requirements.
Respect the An Bord Altranais Code of Professional Conduct by upholding professional standards and by being aware of all An Bord Altranais publications and how they affect nursing practice.
Keep accurate, succinct, and transparent records in the house in  compliance with the law.
Guarantees adherence to the established rules and procedures for the administration, control, and storage of all medications.
HIQA standards knowledge and awareness, as well as the capacity to take part in the inspection process.
Reporting to the Director of Nursing.
Requirements Registered on the Irish Live Register (NMBI).
Must have an active PIN Being sympathetic and caring, and having a strong desire to deliver excellent person-centred care Minimum one year experience Experience working clinically in a residential nursing care environment   Knowledge of the 2013 Health Act Regulations and HIQA Standards Proficiency in both written and spoken English, eligibility to work in Ireland, and excellent listening and communication abilities Benefits Pension Scheme Competitive Salary Sunday Premium Rate Paid Garda Vetting Paid training Education support Opportunity for career progression Education reimbursement Flexible working hours On-site parking Employee Assistance Programme
