We are hiring Staff Nurse- Theatre into a Private Hospital in Galway, Ireland.
We will provide exceptional patient care in an environment where quality, respect, caring and compassion are at the centre of all we do.
Key Responsibilities To work as a member of a team of nurses in the Hospital theatre department providing high-quality, patientcare care for patients and their families.
To develop and maintain good relationships with all members of the multi-disciplinary team and to work closely with nursing colleagues to develop innovative practices within the unit delivering evidence-based care.
The theatre nurse will be expected to assist in a wide range of specialties (Scrub, PACU, Anaesthetics).
To develop specialist knowledge of nursing practice relating to his or her clinical area.
Develop and maintain effective communication and interpersonal relationships with all members of the multi-disciplinary team to ensure good team spirit and collaborative working practices.
Support the theatre manager by meeting agreed responsibilities as set out by the theatre manager or the chief nursing officer at any time.
Identify and discuss nursing and patient needs with consultants and the nursing team, multidisciplinary team, patients, and carers.
Requirements Register with the NMBI's general section of the register of nurses.
Possess a minimum of one year of experience in an acute hospital setting following registration.
 Prior theatre experience is necessary Possess demonstrated clinical and professional aptitude.
Possess outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities.
Possess strong IT abilities and be able to use Microsoft products like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, among others.
Proficiency in the English language is mandatory for the position.
