SiriusXM's new Dublin facility will comprise a workforce primarily focused on software development, automotive technology and engineering, AdTech, data science, and analytics. Talent based in the new technology hub will be charged with developing and implementing best-in-class standards for high-quality, scalable software deliveries for SiriusXM's streaming and in-vehicle audio entertainment platforms. How you'll make an impact: SiriusXM is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Product Manager to join the Data Product & Services team, supporting data analysis and science. You will be responsible for partnering with business, analytics, and science teams to document requirements for our applications and translate requirements to our client and data engineering partners. You will also drive key decisions around SiriusXM's unique array of client devices (i.e. a wealth of different vehicle types in addition to streaming devices), balancing implementation cost and complexity against business visibility. You will partner closely withBusiness Users, Analytics, Data Science, Governance, Legal, and Engineering teams across Data, Services, and Applications to distill information, design, and deliver state-of-the-art data products and services to drive business outcomes.
What you'll do: Serve as the liaison between business owners and technology teams:Subject matter expert for instrumentation of product features and functionality for support of assigned programsActively prioritize feature development rollout and bugs for instrumentationWork with internal SiriusXM teams and partners to define and document new feature requirementsEnsure requirements meet the development strategy (agile vs hybrid) for assigned programsLeverage and further develop strong expertise in one or more areas of the data lifecycle (collection, management, use - including experimentation and data science, and reporting/self-service tooling), and build a strategy for your space that results in measurable results for the business.Identify opportunities for SiriusXM to leverage emerging data technologies and design innovative solutions in a productized fashion that allows for scale within and across business disciplines.Manage required documentation for projects, presentations, business cases, project vision documents, business requirements, data process flows, product release notes and product training documentation.Drive business units, vendors, and technology teams to identify and manage change agendas, prioritize work, and develop implementation plans.Create and implement measurement plans to evaluate the impact our products have on KPIs and Enterprise and Organizational OKRs (Objectives and Key Results)Partner with other teams to investigate issues, determine root-cause, business impact, and evaluate resolution priorityWhat you'll need: Experience managing multiple stakeholders and partners with diverse priorities and perspectivesExperience with:Atlassian Product Suite (JIRA, Confluence, etc.)Databricks, Redshift, Snowflake, or similarTableau, Looker, Domo, or other reporting toolsInstrumentation platforms such as Adobe or internal equivalentStrong public speaking, presentation, and written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and in a team environment with geographically dispersed membersStrong time management skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize and multitask, and work under shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Demonstrated knowledge of various business process and system modeling tools including: Data Flow Diagrams, Event Modeling, Process decomposition, and Use Case ScenariosBS/BA in Business, Marketing or Engineering, or equivalent work experience5+ years of experience in product management3+ years of experience working in Marketing1-3 years of experience in dataVery nice to have: A passion for audio entertainmentOur goal at SiriusXM is to provide and maintain a work environment that fosters mutual respect, professionalism and cooperation.
