Job Summary: My client, a well-established company based in Togher, is seeking a Stock Controller to join their expanding team. This role is Monday to Friday, and the company values their staff and is dedicated to ongoing training and progression.
Benefits: Access to Company Pension SchemeCompetitive Rate of PayStaff DiscountLong Service Leave and RecognitionMain Responsibilities: Providing excellent customer service at our busy Trade Counter while maintaining high company standards.Assisting customers/potential customers with their product selection, detailing benefits and technical features of products.Cash handling and operation of our in-house stock system.Assisting the Shop Manager with merchandising and ensuring the shop meets the highest standards of health and safety and cleanliness.Maintaining effective communications with our suppliers regarding the sourcing and delivery of products.Providing support to our Internal Sales Team and External Sales Team.Checking goods inwards, labelling stock, and checking expiration dates.Keeping track of stock inventory.Requirements: Previous experience providing excellent face-to-face customer service within a retail environment is essential.Previous experience working with stock, preferably in a stock controller role.Good knowledge of Hardware, DIY, and Plumbing Materials.Excellent teamwork, organisational, and time management skills.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Proficient in the use of IT with good computer literacy.Reliable and punctual.Attention to detail.Familiarity with inventory management systems.Ability to maintain and develop good working relationships with suppliers, customers, and other team members.
