The CPM Stores team is responsible for the management of Diageo beer dispense equipment across warehouses in Kilcock, Belfast, and several sub-stores across Ireland.
They are a key link in ensuring consumers always receive the perfect pint of Diageo's market-leading draught beer brands such as Guinness, Harp, Rockshore, Carlsberg, or Smithwick's in every on-trade account across the Island of Ireland.
The Stock Controller/Inventory Manager role is a new role within the contract CPM has with Diageo, so this is a great opportunity for an experienced person to shape this role.
The key responsibility for the role will be monitoring and analysing inventory levels, identifying gaps and trends, and making recommendations to optimise inventory management.
This role will work closely with our client Diageo and the wider QSP management team to ensure inventory accuracy and availability to meet business demand.
The role may also involve assisting the CPM Quality Operations Team with the production of accurate reports for Diageo.
The role will be based between our main store in Kilcock, County Kildare, and our head office in Cookstown, Dublin.

The Primary Responsibilities for This Role Are: Be the go-to subject matter expert for the tracking and reporting of all equipment CPM manages for our client Diageo.Work with Asset Track, our stock management system designers, to ensure accurate reports and dashboards are developed and implemented to meet CPM and our Client Diageo's needs.Ensure all Diageo beer dispense equipment is accurately recorded and tracked from supplier delivery to storage in warehouse and Rep vans to installation in outlet and develop accurate reports to highlight any variations or discrepancies in this process.Work with the QSP Management team to ensure equipment is accurately recorded in trade on an ongoing basis.Establish a robust control environment with reconciliation and audit processes in place to mitigate risks associated with inventory management.Ensure all stock movements are mirrored on the Asset Track stock system and ensure stocks are reconciled on a weekly basis.Ensure all held stock provisions and write-offs are accounted for in Asset Track.Regular monitoring and reporting of inventory levels, age, condition, and turnover to ensure that value is maximised and that actions are developed and executed expediently to address any discrepancies or deviations.Effectively plan, manage, and control all stock and perpetual inventory management checks.Continually review the replenishment process.Support Diageo when launching any new draught or draught spirit brands.Identify variances in actual demand vs planned demand and make informed changes to forecasts and supply chain plans to minimise shortages and overstocks.Identify potential stock shortages, excess stock, and stock errors.Work with Diageo to ensure an accurate Demand planning process is in place.Implement processes to flag potential issues before inventory is replenished.Implement processes to facilitate short-term and long-term supply planning to achieve adherence to schedule in production scheduling and On-Time Delivery.Assist the Quality Operations Manager if required with the production of accurate reports for the client Diageo.Minimum Requirements: Previous experience of working in a Stock Controller/Inventory Manager role or in a similar role is essential.Can clearly demonstrate a strong knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices.High degree of numeracy.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to analyse data and present back in concise and understandable formats, such as dashboards, graphs, tables, and diagrams.Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel is desirable.Experience and knowledge of Salesforce and Power BI are desirable.Good understanding of financial aspects and KPIs as they relate to inventory management.An acute eye for detail and numbers.Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Highly organised and methodical.Knowledge of beer dispense equipment is desirable.Benefits: Competitive basic salaryEmployee Assistance ProgramStructured personal development supported by internal and external development activitiesCompanywide recognition awardsDiscounted health insurance and access to company pension providerActive diversity and inclusion teams across the businessIVF Support PolicyRegular company events and activitiesProduct discountsBike to Work SchemeTaxSaver Scheme – discounted travel tickets.Referral payment schemes
