Have you previous knowledge of picking, packing, processing, and shipping of electronics orders?
The successful candidates will work closely with the goods inwards teams and the internal returns department. The full warehouse team includes goods in, pick, pack, and dispatch teams. The overall goal is to process all orders in a timely and accurate manner for the team to achieve maximum targets.
This role is based in Fonthill, Dublin 22 (Close to Liffey Valley). Candidates will need a current/valid manual handling certificate. A minimum of 3 to 6 months warehouse or order picking experience is a strong advantage.
These roles may be offered on either an agency contract or a permanent contract basis for a limited number.
Candidates Minimums: Manual Handling Certificate 3 to 6 months Warehouse Experience Core Duties: Loading and offloading trucks, preparing orders, and other general warehouse duties. This is not an exhaustive list of duties; you may be asked to tidy, clean, and clear away excess packaging. So if you are not willing to be flexible in this regard, then these roles are not for you. Daily Duties: Work with the goods in department when necessary. Print orders. Prepare products for stocking, following set company procedures. Pick and pack orders accurately. Work with the Shipping department to ensure timely shipping of orders. Work closely with the overall team to resolve any order issues. Participate in the daily cycle counting process. Maintain good housekeeping practices. Perform any other work the warehouse manager or company requires. Requirements: Ability to create and maintain good relationships with all team members. Detail-oriented individual. Must be capable of working independently. Ability to work professionally and competently. Disciplined and organized work style. Ability to utilize computers for inventory, record keeping, and information. Must be a people person with strong communication skills. Must be able to take and follow instructions effectively. Overall, a willingness to learn is key. Be available for overtime when required. Benefits: Bike to work scheme, company pension, on-site parking, and store discount. Schedule: Monday to Friday – 10 am – 6:30 pm. Hourly Rate of Pay: EUR 13.85 per hour (Dependent on department assigned to). Hours/Days of Work: 10 am – 6:30 pm (Due to hours, may suit those needing to work around school start times). Overtime Available – Potential for quick transition to permanent.
