Job Description Always be focused on driving sales and achieving sales targets Hire, train, and evaluate sales personnel Provide excellent customer service by greeting, assisting, and responding to customer inquiries and complaints.
Ensure merchandise is correctly priced and attractively displayed Direct and supervise employees engaged in sales Assign employees to specific duties such as stock-taking, reconciling cash receipts, or performing services for customers.
Instruct staff on how to handle complicated sales.
Perform work activities of subordinates, such as serving customers and selling, tidying stock in stock room, cleaning and organising shelves and displays, executing price changes, etc.
Enforce safety, health, and security rules.
Plan and prepare work schedules and keep records of employees' work schedules in line with man-hour budgets laid down by the company Establish and implement policies, goals, objectives, and procedures for the store Review inventory and sales records to prepare reports for management and budget departments.
Proactively develop methods and procedures to increase sales, expand markets, and promote business.
