Job DescriptionOur client are an international multi-disciplinary consultancy.Opportunity to work on the design of some of the most exciting engineering design projects.
Deliver projects including the preparation of structural analysis models, detailed structural calculations, sketches and specifications.
This will involve all common structural materials, less ordinary and experimental ones, and use of appropriate software.You will work across a variety of sectors and will have the opportunity over time to assume greater levels of responsibility and autonomy as your professional skills continue to develop, and as you work and are supported beyond Chartership.RequirementsMEng degree level (or equivalent) in Structural Engineering.You'll have worked in a similar role previously and have the proven ability to work effectively as part of a team.You'll have a deep understanding of structural analysis, finite element modelling and structural design.
An understanding of structural engineering optimisation techniques would also be desirableBeing proficient in Tekla modelling is a requirement for this roleYou are organised and methodical in your approach to managing your tasks and priorities, you strive to meet deadlines and have a close appreciation of the commercial factors which affect design solutionsCollaborative in nature, you'll be able to empathise with your clients' needs and utilise excellent communication skills, both in writing and verbally, with internal and external stakeholders.
You're used to using your initiative to overcome challenges and have a positive, can-do attitude.You are working actively towards ChartershipPackageExcellent salary, negotiable for the right candidates.
