Structural Engineer - Steel Design

Job DescriptionOur client provides a wide range of services to the steel construction industryDraft and prepare drawings, designs and diagramsDevelop design ideas and structural design calculationsCommunicate with engineers/architects when preparing drawings/designsCalculate dimensions and allowances with accurate precisionRevise drawings and layouts to accommodate changes and enhancementsWillingness and responsive to the demands and coordination of other design team professionals, clients and contractorsLiaise with external consultants and clientsRequirementsLevel 8 Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering0 – 3 years' experience.
Experience preferred to be in an Engineering Design Office background, but site work is also deemed to be valuable.Ideally you will have gained experience working on steel frame projects.Full working knowledge of Eurocode Design Standards for Steel and a good working knowledge of the Concrete Eurocode Design StandardsA good knowledge of structural engineering design software including Master series, Tekla Structural Designer, Idea Statica or similar.Be able to work in a team environment and take direction from Project Lead Engineers to prioritise deliverables, work to tight deadlines and deliver projects on time.Excellent written and verbal communicationSelf-motivated with great attention to detail and ability to research a subject.PackageSalary Negotiable salary package based on relevant experienceExcellent benefits
