Sub-Editor/Production Journalist (Examiner Echo Group)

Job Description: The successful candidate will work on The Irish Examiner's award-winning website and newspaper as well as The Echo and our regional titles.
The person appointed will be capable of making decisions quickly and will demonstrate a commitment to accuracy and the importance and integrity of of the written word in our published content.
The successful candidate will have strong digital publishing skills and work across our news, sports, and features departments, with an emphasis on teamwork.
Strong copy-editing skills are essential.
Our production team operates on a rolling shift basis across seven days in a cycle that applies between 7am and midnight, and work across all sections of the website and newspapers.
This position will entail working the evening shift.
