We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Technical Co-ordinator (facilities utilities- critical environments) to join our team. As part of the onsite team, you will be responsible for all hard services, vendors, project team, maintenance, operations, purchases and occupancy services.
In this role you will provide supervision and guidance to all technical aspects of building technical infrastructure in open spaces and especially in its technical areas such as Colo's.
Core Duties & ResponsibilitiesEnsure the property is maintained to a high standard, ensuring all tickets are allocated and actioned quickly.Managing vendors that supply technical services to the facilities infrastructure to ensure required standard of performance is maintained.Responsible for all technical contracts to optimise delivery and cost savings on the projects.Working with clients to avoid any problems during maintenance and technical projects realisation. As well as pre-empting any obstacles.Negotiate technical contracts to optimise delivery and cost savings.Inspections with technicians of technical infrastructure and critical systems to prevent any unplanned downtime or failures.Ensure all suppliers are audited and inspected to reach required levels to be conducted regularly.Create annual Planned Preventative Maintenance plan and maintain it in a proper and accurate way.Assuring PPMs of critical systems are done accordance with the law regulations.Reporting defects using internal tools to create tickets.Cooperate with Health and Safety department provide suppliers technical related documentation and procedures: Logbooks, H&S Authorisation and Permits to work.Conduct site inspections and assessments to ensure all building procedures and performance measures are always maintained.Conduct site inspections and assessments to ensure all building procedures and performance measures are always maintained.Manage and conduct black building tests (helping with conduction)Conduct regular health and safety audits to ensure all safety procedures are in place and working properly.Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.Ensure operational excellence, meeting SLA's and proactively identifying potential risks.Maintain business and client confidentiality, adhering to GDPR regulations in line with company and group standards.Qualifications: Skills and ExperienceMechanical or Electrical knowledge beneficial.Proven experience in facilities management/technician, preferably in a data centre environment.Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems.Experience in redesigning and enlarging office space.Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in IT, including Microsoft OfficeHours of workTypically 40 hours per week
