Main Purpose and Objectives of Position: The Supply Chain Lead is a key person within the Kinsale Supply Chain team. The role owns all aspects of warehouse/logistics for their assigned business area, leads projects, and provides technical support for warehouse and logistics business processes. The person is a key business partner and works closely with Operations, Quality, TS/MS, Finance, IT, and others to support the business.
This role is an individual contributor position. Lilly Kinsale has a hybrid working policy. Key Responsibilities: Develop and own relationship with Contract Logistics Services Providers (off-site warehouses) and support business process optimizations.Optimize supply chain operations, flow of materials, information, and put-away strategy.Apply project management skills to deliver projects within the Supply Chain function.Lead inspection readiness for Supply Chain and represent the area in internal and external inspections.Provide technical support for quality and safety changes, deviations, and OPEX investigations.Support the development of future warehousing strategic capacity initiatives.Own key internal KPIs and drive operational excellence within the Supply Chain Function.Update Receiving Instructions, SOPs, and Work Instructions related to Supply Chain/Warehousing.Support Warehouse business processes e.g., temperature monitoring and pest management program.Own Data Integrity initiatives pertaining to Warehousing business processes.Support Site SME for Cold Chain activities, i.e., transportation under refrigerated/frozen conditions.Drive Quality Culture within GMP Warehouse, e.g., Time on Floor activities/Audit Readiness.Educational Requirements: At a minimum, a higher-level bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification. Supply Chain qualification is an advantage.
