We are supporting our client – a specialist in plastics component manufacturing – in the search for a Supply Chain Lead.
The successful candidate will have experience in a similar role within manufacturing, administration, or a supply chain environment.
Position Overview: As a Supply Chain Lead, you'll have end-to-end ownership of supply chain requirements for specific clients.
Your primary focus will be on coordinating clients' shipments and deliveries, ordering of packaging, conducting stock checks, and ensuring the Environmental Management System is established.
Responsibilities for the Supply Chain Lead: * Coordinating clients' shipments and deliveries while dealing with any queries/issues which may arise due to delays, etcetera.
* Corresponding and updating customers/ logistics provider and suppliers daily.
* Weekly internal communications circulated reference orders, inventory status and details of deliver schedule for following week.
* Attend weekly client meetings where required.
Always be punctual and prepared to provide updates.
* Arrange collection and delivery of all raw material and packaging.
* Ensure strong communication on material supply status with internal stakeholders.
* Ensure certificates of conformance are aligned to requirements and correct records retained.
* Booking in of all materials and packaging onto ERP IQMS; ensuring FRM:138 is fully completed and attached to goods inwards.
* Data entry and export from the company ERP IQMS.
* Ensure truck driver card and tachograph is kept up to date.
* Virtual line clearance must be completed and signed off online clearance form.
* Coordinating weekly stock checks with the store personnel and material handler.
* Ensure stock levels are correctly reflected in the company's ERP IQMS.
* Email provided weekly to the financial controller, operations manager and production manager with stock checks.
No changes to be made to ERP system until approved from the above.
* Client stock checks to be completed on request from customer.
* Proactive lean participation to assist with cost savings and drive efficiencies in line with the lean journey.
* To strictly comply to all approved procedures within the Quality Management System.
* Actively participate in lean initiatives and proactively help with continuous improvement.
* Ensures that the Environmental Management System is established, implemented, maintained and continually improved across the site in accordance with ISO 14001 requirements.
About You: * Leaving certificate or equivalent * Administration/MS Office certification * Leaving cert or equivalent.
* A third-level qualification would be an advantage * Good communicator.
* Good interpersonal skills.
* Work on own initiative.
* Good level of IT/PC skills.
* Two to three years in a similar role within manufacturing, administration, or a supply chain environment.
