Based in Dublin reporting directly to the Global Supply Planning Director, the Supply Chain Manager is responsible for effectively managing demand and supply for commercially critical molecules for Global Markets and Global Supply Sites. The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for inventory management and product supply from internal suppliers and managing a team of supply planners to service markets in the EU, Australia, New Zealand, and Emerging markets.
The Supply Chain Manager will oversee supply plans based on market requirements and in line with inventory strategies, monitoring system generated supply plans, avoiding and minimizing any supply disruptions, and maintaining service levels.
Key responsibilities for this role include: Manage and support a team of supply planners and senior supply planners.Set and manage annual performance goals for the team and team members. Provide support and clear direction daily.Manage and balance global demand and supply for assigned supply chains.Drive Global Sales & Operations Planning. Lead discussions on assigned supply chains and molecules.Review and level load site demand. Mitigate capacity shortfalls in line with inventory targets.Be an important stakeholder in projects where supply flows are changing.Conduct what-if analysis and develop recommendations for contingency plans for potential changes to the supply network.Decide and implement optimal Supply Chain Flows for the most efficient product movement within the Viatris Network considering various inputs.Support global stakeholders with clear communications. Manage stakeholder expectations.Foster and maintain excellent working relationships with internal stakeholders (production, quality, logistics, procurement, finance, IT, etc.) and external stakeholders where applicable.Cultivate a culture of innovation, engagement, and empowerment.Promote and communicate a culture of process improvement and the associated benefits cross-functionally within the organization from a Supply Chain Management perspective.Deliver results. Mylan's supply chain operational metrics assess critical activities and identify actions that will sustain or enhance performance.Customer service is always the number one priority and operational metrics are designed to drive continuity in supply and reliability in customer service.The minimum qualifications and experience for this role are:
4-5 years relevant supply chain/manufacturing experience. Pharma experience is required.Previous experience as a Supply Chain Manager is required with experience managing significant site budgets and employees is a distinct advantage.Qualification in a Business-Related discipline or Supply Chain.Previous Rapid Response and/or SAP experience is a distinct advantage.Competent knowledge of Microsoft Office systems essential especially Microsoft Excel.Excellent presentation skills.Excellent persuasion and influencing skills.Strong planning & analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.Ability to work on planning process development and roll out.
