Supply Chain Senior Project Manager

This role is hybrid and work location may be Cork or Dublin.
Attendance on various sites will be required depending on live projects. Occasional International travel.

The successful candidate will join a high performing team that delivers strong support to the wider Supply Chain network in a fast paced & dynamic environment. A key requirement of the role involves operating at a Senior Level in the Supply Chain Development team, creating partnerships across the Supply Chain network and the wider business to drive the achievement of Lowest Cost / Cost Optimal & Growing Good Business.
The role will also focus on leading the Supply Chain Development transformational strategy process in Supply Chain.
This role requires excellent strategic and leadership abilities, as well as a deep understanding of Supply Chain warehouse and transport operations.
The main responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
* Effectively identifying and initiating Supply Chain improvement projects.
* Representing Supply Chain and presenting project outcomes and business cases effectively and persuasively at board level.
* Working cross functionally to understand wider business needs and the key role Supply Chains play.
* Supporting strategic transport network design.
* Supporting warehouse / layout / process design including fit out of new facilities.
* Identifying and researching warehouse automation and advanced transport technologies.
* Managing the tendering of 3PL contracts.
* Supporting and enabling operational teams on tactical improvement projects.
* Providing thought leadership and innovation and remaining fully abreast of leading-edge industry innovation in Supply Chain.
* Leading and developing a highly motivated professional team.
The ideal candidate will have/be:
The successful candidate will be/have:
* 15 years + in transformational, strategic development roles in logistics, retail or FMCG manufacture.
* A track record of delivery of multimillion €/£ projects.
* Experience of presenting at board level.
* Strong Communication, presentation & Influencing Skills
* Relevant qualification(s), preferably Masters in appropriate discipline.
* Evidence of continuous improvement skills e.g. lean qualifications.
* Ability to influence teams across the business.
* Ability to work to structured deadlines and project management disciplines.
* Growth mindset & behaviors consistent with Musgrave Values & Guiding principles.
* Exhibits the drive to develop further through continuous professional and experiential learning.
