Current Need:
SK Biotek Ireland are currently seeking to recruit a Supply Chain Sourcing Manager, reporting to the Supply Chain Director at their Swords facility.
Position Description:
• Develop, implement and manage Procurement and Sourcing strategies - across Direct and Indirect Category Portfolios - that are informed by market expertise and that drive margin performance, support business growth and secure continuity of supply.
• Design, implement and manage Supply Planning strategies that support on time and in full delivery across development and commercial projects.
• Foster the continued development of individuals and team; shaping a 'can do', customer-focused culture centred on delivery, learning and innovation.
• Embed robust Supplier Segmentation and Supplier Relationship Management processes that enable the business to leverage supplier capabilities; realise cost savings, enhance sustainability performance, and reduce supply risk exposure.
• Collaborate closely with Capital Project Teams to shape commercial strategy for Capital Projects – leading evaluation, selection and management of Architect/Engineering firms, Construction Contractors and Equipment Suppliers.
• Oversee the development of contracts, contractual relationships, and contract management to deliver continuous improvement in the delivery of goods and services.
• Build effective collaboration with global Supply Chain and Procurement teams to drive value creation and realise benefit.
• Lead annual Procurement Budgeting and quarterly Forecasting processes.
• Manage resolution of Supplier Quality issues - Vendor Non-Conformances, CAPAs and Deviations.
• Assure compliance with Company Policies, Procedures and Business Rules and with local and international regulatory requirements (SOX, GMP, SHE etc …).
Minimum Requirements:
• Pharma /Healthcare industry experience would be advantageous.
• Professional Procurement qualifications and/or Business, Chemistry, Engineering or Supply Chain Degree.
• Demonstrated track-record of achievement in Procurement, Sourcing or Supply Chain context.
• Experience of operating and influencing at a strategic level.
• Good problem solver with strong interpersonal skills.
• Good working knowledge of SAP.
• Computer literate with strong MS Office skills.
• Experience in new product introduction would be an advantage.
