Description OverviewThe Supply Network Manager will be responsible for reconciling Supply Plan with Demand Plan and facilitating the resolution of gaps to plans. Escalate critical gaps between the plans in the S&OP process and drive necessary actions to address.
Scope of the RoleWork closely with Supply Planning Organization to review Supply Plan, assess the deviations (vs plan, vs latest forecast, etc..) and generate a consensus Supply Plan to share with internal sites and CMO.Leading and facilitating S&OP and S&OE processes with internal sites and key strategic suppliers (as per supplier tier defined by Procurement organization). Track on a regular basis key business metrics which are related to speed, delivery performance, schedule adherence, etc. Serve as first point of contact for Supply Planners in case of Supply issues.Conduct and/or facilitate what-if analysis to create alternate scenarios for reconciling demand, supply. Explain and communicate the risks and upside associated with different scenarios for more productive cross-functional discussions and alignment. Be the voice of Supply in Category teams.Work with Planning & Procurement to establish inventory targets on key strategic components. Identify and analyze potential supply plan deviations which can lead to obsolescence risks in packaging, components and develop options to avoid or minimise.Assess operational network planning assumptions in conjunction with procurement, planning, manufacturing operations and logistics/warehousing, including lead times, order quantities, campaign or production strategy, etc and suggest areas of optimization in line with Supply Chain segmentation strategy.Work with various cross-functional teams (eg portfolio managers) on projects such as new product launches, line extensions, product discontinuations.Contribute to special projects and other supply chain and business strategy initiatives (eg Innovation and Tech Transfer) as required.Experience RequiredBachelors degree in Supply Chain management, Business administration of related field.Minimum 5 years experience in supply chain management, preferably Planning or Procurement in manufacturing or pharma CPG.Good cross-functional knowledge outside Supply Chain & Operations.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.Detail oriented, analytical with problem solving skills.Ability to work within high-performing teams in a fast paced environment and is highly collaborative.Benefits
