Amazon is looking for a Support Engineer to be part of our global Operational Excellence team.
The team deploys, supports, and maintains software solutions that link our low-level automation systems with the cloud, moving the business to Industry 4.0 and improving the Overall Equipment Effectiveness of the installations.

Key job responsibilities
As a Support Engineer within the Global MAP OE team you will:
Review and test software solutions and new functionalities to ensure they are 100% error-free and ready for production.Deploy software solutions to our production facilities, remotely or on-site.Be part of the network that will support our customers 24/7.Manage trouble tickets to resolution or escalation using existing documentation, procedures, and tools.Maintain products and systems and perform change management activities using existing documentation or with support from peers.Identify improvements to existing support processes and contribute to support documentation updates and creation. About the team
The Maintenance Automation Platform (MAP) Team plays a critical role in ensuring that machine-generated data leads to automated, appropriate, and effective proactive and/or predictive maintenance actions. Our objective is to mature and integrate core software tools into a unified Maintenance Automation Platform.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- 2+ years of software development or technical support experience.
- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
- Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems.
- Experience in Unix.
- Experience scripting in modern programming languages.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Experience with AWS, networks, and operating systems.
