Surgical Dental Nurse

The Role: We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic surgical nurse to join our dynamic team at Dame St Dental.
As a surgical nurse, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality care in a safe and comfortable environment.
This is a permanent position offering a minimum of 36+ hours per week, with the opportunity to work additional hours as our clinic operates seven days a week.
Key Responsibilities: Assisting Surgical Procedures: Provide chairside assistance during various surgical procedures, ensuring optimal patient care and support for our dental specialists.
Knowledge of Surgeries: Maintain a comprehensive understanding of all surgical procedures performed at Dame St Dental/Truly to effectively support our team.
Aseptic Techniques and Infection Control: Perform and assist others in adhering to proper aseptic techniques, isolation procedures, and infection control measures to ensure a sterile surgical environment.
Patient Care: Ensure patients are cared for in an optimum clinical environment, adhering to all nursing and clinical policies and guidelines.
Documentation: Record all important information before, during, and after surgical procedures in a professional, legible, and timely manner.
Implant Stock Management: Maintain adequate levels of implant stock and forecast the necessary implant components for upcoming surgeries.
Surgical Lab Work: Oversee and ensure all surgical lab work is properly managed and completed.
Equipment Management: Ensure all surgical equipment is cleaned, sterilized, packaged, and returned correctly after every surgery.
Report any inconsistencies with equipment or instruments to the clinical managers or head nurse.
