Sustainability Coordinator We are seeking a passionate and driven Sustainability Coordinator to join our sustainability team at RSA Insurance Ireland DAC (part of Intact). This is an exciting junior-level position designed for someone eager to make a positive impact on our company's sustainability goals and initiatives. The ideal candidate will assist in the implementation and management of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) projects, ensuring the company's operations align with its sustainability targets.
Key Responsibilities: Support Sustainability Programs: Assist in the coordination and implementation of sustainability programmes within RSA Insurance Ireland DAC & 123.ieSupport Data Collection & Analysis: Gather, analyse, and report on sustainability data (e.g., energy use, emissions), identifying trends and areas for improvement.Compliance & Reporting: Help ensure compliance with environmental regulations and contribute to sustainability reporting for internal stakeholders and external bodies (e.g., annual sustainability reports, ESG disclosures).Stakeholder Engagement: Support collaboration with internal departments (such as underwriting, operations, and procurement) to embed sustainability practices across the business.Research & Recommendations: Stay informed on sustainability trends, regulations, and best practices to help inform and improve company policies and initiatives.Event & Initiative Coordination: Assist in organizing sustainability-related events, workshops, and awareness campaigns to engage employees and external partners in sustainability efforts.Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the Head of Sustainability, including maintaining records, preparing presentations, and handling sustainability-related inquiries.Requirements: Good understanding of sustainability-related mattersGood written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational skillsRegulatory Requirements: This role is subject to the Fitness and Probity Standards ("The Standards"), issued under Section 50 of the Central Bank Reform Act 2010 and any subsequent amendments.
