With a proven track record operating to world leading service levels, we pride ourselves in being technically focused long-term partners, providing our customers peace of mind when investing in significant physical network, storage and computing resources that provide the digital solutions to millions of users around the world everyday.We seek to hire the best talent in the industry, who has the passion and motivation to join the growing team in K2.Responsibilities:The Data Centre Sustainability Process Specialist will report to the Facility Process Specialist.Support with building and maintaining compliance with emerging Datacentre compliance including EU Code of Conduct on Data Centres, Carbon Neutral Datacentre Pact, EU Taxonomy, EU Energy Efficiency Directive, and the Corporate Sustainability Reporting DirectiveEnsuring the ESG policy documents and processes within the facility are maintained and escalated where appropriate.Manage all internal and external training schedules including ESG & TechnicalSupport with internal and external audit / inspection requirements to ensure department compliance / readiness.Engagement with customer counterparts to ensure appropriate data sharing and continual process improvementSupport with finance within purchase orders, invoicing and budgets.Develop projects in collaboration with colleagues to achieve K2's sustainability goalsBecome a subject matter expert on the relevant regulations and K2's pathways to ensuring compliance.Manage and complete ad-hoc projects as assigned.Prepare reports by collating, analysing, and summarizing data; making recommendations.Work internally or with other departments to increase efficiencies and reduce social and environmental impacts.RequirementsMinimum Diploma or qualified certificationEvidence of interest or expertise in sustainability and/or ESG in a corporate environmentAbility to work closely and learn on the job with mechanical and electrical engineering colleagues2-3 years' relevant work experience, Data Centre background preferredTechnical understanding of electricity generation and carbon budgets preferredExcellent document controlExcellent project, planning, change and time management capabilitiesGood judgement and decision-making skillsStrong organisational skillsFamiliar with Microsoft office suiteAbility to use computer applications effectivelyAbility to work on SAP would be an advantage.Be innovative
