Financial Accountant Location:Dublin or Kilkenny / Hybrid Role Contract Duration/Type:Permanent Overview of the role: As the Financial Accountant, You will ensure the efficient running of the portfolio and the on-time delivery of accurate monthly financial reports.
Required to work closely with the Finance Manager and Operations team the Financial Accountant.
Duties of the Role include: Review balance sheet reconciliations, assist internal control and external audit.
Understand, identify and escalate any financial risks found in tasks performed.
Monthly management accounts, budgets, forecasts, long-term plans.
Including: Regional Report, Monthly Financial Review Packs and other ad-hoc reports Proactively provide regular feedback to the Finance Manager and General Managers.
Demonstrate a control of your portfolio, a clear understanding of risks and performance issues.
Management of Working Capital and assisting the team in the management of Credit Control and Treasury Function.
Understand key drivers of contracts and forge strong relationships with Operations Team.
Communication of key performance information to operations and setting targets and action plans when required.
Drive automation of all manual processes & reports.
To assist the General Managers with key financial information Assist with New Business/Investco analysis when required.
Ad hoc duties Required skills for this role: ACA,ACCA,CIMA,CP or equivalent beneficial.
Strong IT and systems skills (with a focus on Financial Systems and controls) Strong Excel and analytical experience Effective time management skills Proven experience that demonstrates strong commercial acumen Meet deadlines (flexibility at month end etc).
Provide hands-on support when needed to meet targets.
