ICT Services are currently recruiting for a System Administrator based on our client site in Dublin 24.
This is a daily rate contract for 8-12 months initially, with potential for extension after.
The role is responsible for troubleshooting and improving the systems that keep the backend infrastructure running smoothly, and this will require knowledge of a range of Infrastructure related technologies, including server hardware platforms, operating systems, virtualisation technologies and security implementation.
Responsibilities: Documenting infrastructure processes, procedures, and standards and to maintain or prepare system documentation as requiredTroubleshoot and monitor the technical infrastructure and perform preventative maintenance work, to ensure operational effectiveness and stability of the technical environmentProviding the technical support for projects, and delivery of infrastructure tasksTo support the technical services team on 2nd and 3rd line incidents, and planned work, managing them through to resolutionWhen required support the operations team in resolving high impact, or technically challenging problems.Works with the wider senior team to ensure that all activities and operations are performed in compliance with regulations and laws governing business operationsRequirements: Windows Server platforms, including VMWare virtualisation technologies3rd level technical expertise across Microsoft and Windows infrastructuresExchange 2016/2019 Hybrid, Office 365 and Azure ADStorage and Backup Management using SAN/NAS based technologies on EMC hardwareAdministration of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS / DFS / DHCP / WINS, Windows File & Print servicesKnowledge of one or more specific skill in the following areas:ExchangeEMC Networker Backup, data domain or VeeamPowershell, including knowledge of scriptingUnderstanding of ITIL processes, including change and incident managementTroubleshooting and analysis skillsO365 configuration and support, including Exchange and Teams
